Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Companion Builds

Can you multi Seelah after getting MoJ tho'? Game doesn't give you any Bard/Skald so i'm looking to multi a companion myself - not sure if this is worthwhile though. Is taking a level of Scaled Fist worth it? Or is there any other companion you can multi to Bard/Skald? Went for an alchemist...

    Pathfinder Wrathfinder builds general

Ye, forgot you mostly fight demons; you do get a pally companion tho' so i wouldn't like to prioritize it as a MC class. Edit: Ended up going for an Incense Synthesizer for my first run since you don't get an Alchemist companion and i used Jubilost a lot in Kingmaker. Any tips on how to build her?

    Pathfinder Wrathfinder builds general

Any recommendations for a Monk build? I ended up going Pally in Kingmaker with a 1 level dip in Scaled Fist but i was really tempted to do the reverse - go Quarterstaff Scaled Fist with a 2 level dip in Pally. In Wotr Pallies seem weaker as a main class (2level dip prolly still viable), not...

Pillars of Eternity, New Vegas and other Obsidian DLC Discussion

I don't get how people actually like Honest Hearts - from a gameplay perspective it's Bethesda-level retardation with the "fetch X and bring it back" quests and the level scaling. Even the "moral dilema" at the end seems really weird and pointless, had like 0 impact on me as a player. The only...

    Nox: Opinions?

Couldn't survive death ray with mage, with protections up one hit left me with 1 hp and i died fairly fast. Warriors could tank it a little and conjurers just summoned golems to tank for them.

    Nox: Opinions?

Conjurer was p easy iirc, out of the 3 classes it was the easiest to do the last fight with too. Never managed to beat her with mage though

    Distant Worlds (with expansions)

I have decided to purposely NOT research "Enhanced Resource Exploration" (the thing that lets my scout-type ships explore faster i.e. find what resources unknown planets have from further away) - to force the fuckers to get close to every planet so i don't miss out on ruins when i automate them...

    Distant Worlds (with expansions)

What the hell do you do with the spy/intelligence sytem? I've lost more spies to ~90% success missions than to low-chance missions, i swear to god it's like the system wants me to send all my spies on low-odd missions and save-scum till all make it out alive (which is really fucking often). I've...

Stellaris - Paradox new sci-fi grand strategy game

Which is why when devs do come up with ingenious solution for people abusing gameplay mechanics they deserve genuine praise. I'm not one for Sawyer's school of balance though, but i absolutely loved that you couldn't fuck yourself out of an ending in New Vegas even though you could kill Caesar...

Stellaris - Paradox new sci-fi grand strategy game

It's not like they can't put up a good fight, it's just somewhat easy to get ahead because you know what to do research/ship-design-wise and you start pulling ahead pretty early. Pirates are a huge pain in the ass to deal with late-game though.

Stellaris - Paradox new sci-fi grand strategy game

That's fine but i wouldn't pay more than 5$ for that, and right now Paradox is asking me for a lot more so that's a nono for me. Also - WOW - less than five hours? You are such a quickshot you old devil you.

Stellaris - Paradox new sci-fi grand strategy game

Installed DW:U 2 weeks ago, took about 2 days of watching let's play (tortuga's tutorial really helped) and i ended up enjoying ship design the most even though that was the thing that initially scared me the most. I still think it kind of becomes tedious late-game to micro-manage a big empire...

Stellaris - Paradox new sci-fi grand strategy game

I get that combat is shit and all but is this worth buying for any of its other aspects (e.g. research, diplomacy, exploration, etc)?

Romance in cRPGs - is it ever good?

The product (i.e. game) as a whole is there to please the player obviously, but there's a difference between creating an integral piece that's great and creating something out of pieces that are appeasing without any consideration to the entire finished good. If you're shitting on the...
