  1. PC Gamer reviews Dragon Age

:sigh: no, no, no volourn. range = monsters the dm is allowed to utilize, in no relation whatsoever to the party's lvl. If the players get their asses handed to them, tough luck. scale = monsters that approximate the pc party, offering a challenge but mostly due to numbers, not lvl.
  2. PC Gamer reviews Dragon Age

Volourn, given your earlier example, you are confusing lvl scaling with lvl range. Scaling means that enemies are approx. the pc's lvl, give or take a few. On the review, if Des wrote it, ignore it. He's clearly bored of being a second class lawyer and wants to make some money advertising...
  3. Baldur's Gate II Sucks!

I'm talking about actual mechanics, not encounter direction or dnd edition. Like I said, you 'll like it. I'm betting a buck.
  4. Baldur's Gate II Sucks!

It's more or less the same with every infinity game, except PST obviously.
  5. Baldur's Gate II Sucks!

BG 2 is good fun. Not every game needs to be FO. If you like infinity, you 'll have a blast Wyrmlord.
  6. And This Is The New character creator

I really find this pointless.I bet it's EA's idea. It made sense with Spore but I just can't see it's usefulness with DA. If they offered a small combat area with it, it would be another thing entirely. I did dl it tho'. :hypocrite:
  7. 1st DX11 gaem is hear OMIGODZ!!

No skyway, the equivalent of gtx 295 will be the 5870x2. I'm not a fanboy or anything mind you, I just like to set the record straight.
  8. 1st DX11 gaem is hear OMIGODZ!!

Skyway, the gtx 295 is a dual gpu card. 5870 is comparable to 285. Otherwise, it's apples to oranges.
  9. Holy fuck, Gabriel Knight 2 subtitles patch!

The Beast Within is awesome beyond belief.
  10. Holy fuck, Gabriel Knight 2 subtitles patch!

Wow that's cool man, good job. Can you do it for take 2 's The Ripper too? :D
  11. Is BioWare this inbred and retarded?

I wonder how they clean all that blood. It's going to get pretty sticky at some point. Also, where's Volly?
  12. On November 30th...

    On November 30th I turn 30.
  13. X3

Terran Conflict has a ui that finally makes sense. If you 're desperate for some space exploration, then you 'll like it. Really it isn't that hard, you just need to read the manual and maybe cruise Egosoft's boards for a bit. It's true tho' that it resembles a mmo sometimes.
  14. I'M THE GODDAMN BATMAN

    Unbelievable.
  15. Non-linear adventure games

I don't think graphic adventure games can be truly non-linear because they rely heavily on narrative flow. Myst-likes are in essence puzzle games so they don't qualify as adventures. But, there can be some freedom in the structure of the story. e.g. Larry can mostly pick which chick to screw...
