Undetected - "Boomer Stealth Game" inspired by MGS and Splinter Cell

This looks p promising, basically a combination of old MGS camera and vibe with Splinter Cell's lighting and sound based stealth mechanics and more open ended level design.

Visibility Meter: Hide in the shadows and interact with the environment to create dark areas to sneak through. Be careful not to leave footprints.

Sound: Every footstep, surface, weapon and item can make a noise that will alert the enemy. Watch out for those puddles!

Possibilities: Tons of items, abilities, throwables, laser mines and hiding spots to infiltrate or fight off enemies. Every area is filled with opportunities.

Boss Fights that challenge your stealth and fighting skills. There are multiple ways to take down each boss - sneakily or directly!

Weird Arsenal of 4 bullet types and 8 explosives that can be thrown or planted. Each one has different effects on enemies, the environment and even yourself.

An Alert Mode that is tense but fair. Getting caught is not the end, but an opportunity to get creative.

A deep story full of lore, betrayal, conspiracy and sprinkles of humor. Destroy your ex-employer and stop a corporation from pitting cultures against each other for profit.

Graphics that mix retro and modern techniques to bring boomer stealth into the future.

Improved mechanics that polish the top-down stealth experience. No more staring at a tiny radar for hours!

So I wanted to give you shit for that "boomer stealth" thing but it turns out that the dev used those very words in the list you quoted from his steam page. Cringe.

Also, you forgot the following:

UNDETECTED is a top-down stealth game with a non-lethal-only approach to design and a bicultural, inclusive story of unity.

Oh nic-

*sees video*

Yawn. Inspired by the first MGS 1 if anything, which was already limited in 1998.

Sound: Every footstep, surface, weapon and item can make a noise that will alert the enemy. Watch out for those puddles!

Yeah, it showed in the video with the MC making super loud running noise and enemies not giving a shit.

Graphics that mix retro and modern techniques to bring boomer stealth into the future.

cringe.

In the grim darkness of the very immediate future, there are no games, only Fortnite.
