This is the second slowest Fantasy book I have ever read, and easily the one with the strongest characters. It did not become my favourite, since I like my SF more fantastical than realisitic, but it was well worth the read.
I have Gormenghast aswell, unsure if I want to read something lighter first as a palate cleanser, or continue on.
