No, I thought you'd be annoyed at the posters asking for patch updates on the front page.

No way, you could use this power for good and not evil. There are certain patches/mods that are way more news worthy for this site than most of the schlock posted on the front page.

I thought Mossad would use DMs for comms.

Off the top of my head:

New ScummVM release (1.2.0?), new devilutionX release (1.3.0), Fallout: Resurrection, Nevada, Olympus, the updated Fallout 2 restoration patch (most probably don't know Killap's work is being continued by a dedicated modder), the upcoming Gothic 2: Zloty edition patch which will introduce difficulty modes.

The thing is, all of these at once is obviously too much and makes the site look focused on small shit. Coverage of this type should be timely, and used sparingly like a strong herb.

i think it's more authentic to the core of the codex than posting pathfinding wrath of the cringe updates, or regurgitating PR / newswire releases

I don't get that. Games like Wrath of the Righteous and Baldur's Gate 3 are important to this site's mission! High profile isometric roleplaying is back after a decade in the wilderness, and some people's response to that is to avert their eyes and pretend it's all the same as Mass Effect and Elder Scrolls. Unless you're a culture war blackpiller, you should be pretty excited about how things are going.

But sure, if I wasn't a volunteer doing this mostly on my own, other "beats" could be covered. As it is, this is the one that interests me the most.
