Seems like a nice place, would like to visit Paro Taktsang. My main teacher has strong connections to Bhutan, and would have been the Dharmaraja of the country, had it not switched to secular rule. Unfortunately it costs foreigners something like £250 a day to stay there.

What is dharmaja, something like buddhist cardinal? The price seems expensive but it seems truly unique, especially for a foreigner.

Yeah I heard they don't care much about gdp per capita and make their own gdp with spiritual enlightenment. Truly interesting place.
