Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

It's actually my "new" account. Joined in 2002 but forgot the pass.

How was codex during those times? You must be missing it.

I was young and impressionable but insults seemed more sophisticated, there was a literary and argumentative character to it, while now it's a bit more crass.

It felt a bit more free; less censorship, more goatse.cx and tubgirl trolling, a bit more offensive, and yet developers also came to visit more and gave interviews.

And the front page news and reviews, led by Vault Dweller, were incisive and influential. People took them seriously, other sites quoted them, devs tried to learn from them, others cowered in fear, etc.

Good times. But they're not so bad these days either.

Sounds very nice I barely remember what internet forums looks like in mid 2000's. Since every site gets influenced by major sites it gets less original. Those days must be very good but even today codex is better when it comes to discussing games.
