I would rather say that our game is more an adventure with RPG elements. First of all we have an advanced spell system, which is non-linear or offers a choice between enemy parties. Some quests or options of their accomplishment will be connected with your character development. And, of course, there will be character development. The hero has about 30 skills and a traditional for RPGs inventory/doll. </blockquote>

An adventure in real time, something similar to Diablo
I think they're referring to the whole isometric real-time romp around the countryside thing. Not that the game will be like Diablo in terms of combat, NPC interaction etc.

Holy cow I thought that was a chick at first. And what in the world is that thing in the background? A blimp?

The battle interface looks really nifty, very clean. Just lay done a hex grid and BAM! We're ready to go. I'd like to see a gameplay vid though, just to see how combat works out in action.

Ooh, interesting. Looks like there's only three main attributes for your char (Attack, Defense, and Intellect) and I hope those aren't ALL the skills you can have over there on the right. The rank thign intrigues me, too, because I wonder if you can use that to persuade people and whatnot.

All in the all, the game is shaping up really really good. It's really starting to sound a lot like one of my Dream Games(tm) and I know the SR2 guys can pull it off.

Ok, I don't get why people are so excited, but hey -- we were even excited about oblivion, which is not really an RPG, so hey!

(I mean gosh, that's an adventure-oriented homm clone, DUH)

So? It sounds like a really great game and King's Bounty had an awesome premise and I'm glad it's getting a proper update.

4. Tell us about the setting. Is it going to be different from the other bajillion vanilla fantasy games out there?

Gothic or Oblivion are pure RPGs and again they are different.

Oblivion is a pure RPG?

Speaking of which, I'll soon finish the translation of a brand-new, huge interview at CRPG.ru, so if anyone's still interested, stay tuned.
