Thankfully a lot fewer low effort porn games this time.

Played the Yohane game despite never seeing the show. It's a pretty good Metroidvania and worth checking out. Decently lengthy. Will check out Sorceress later. Looks like Dark Messiah style first person combat. Koumajou Remilia Ⅱ: Stranger's Requiem should also be worth a look.

Sovereign Syndicate looks like it takes a lot of inspiration from Disco Elysium. So much that it's off-putting.

Been playing Magicraft (Binding of Isaac style roguelite with customizable magic) and it's a lot of fun. Was gonna play a bunch of demos today but I'm still stuck on this one.

Yeah having a week to burn through so many time limited demos is way too short a period to cover all that much lest you only dip your toes in and play 20 minutes each max. I usually try to find the press page a week earlier and since roughly half the participating games have their demos up by then but I forgot to do that this time around.

Finally removed myself from Magicraft demo enough to give some other games a try. can't play that much during weekday but will hopefully get through at least 3 demos/day before they disappear.


Another old school blobber, fairly difficult, can't really take blobbers with antiquated or shit interfaces anymore.


Simple jrpg roguelite with blobber combat. Fun, good controls with fast combat, but very simple so far. Anime graphics haters beware.
