Uncompressed - whatever it is - has posted a semi-retarded review of Neverwinter Nights 2, giving it 3.5 out of 5, bitching about different things, but admitting that the game was fun to play.

Neverwinter Nights was one of the most beloved games in the history of the Dungeons and Dragons franchise.
Riiight.

NWN2 (as it shall henceforth be referred to) is much in the same vein as the original NWN; it so closely resembles its predecessor, that throughout the game it often felt like I was playing a massive expansion instead of an entirely new game.
This paragraph is the reason why you should support the National Youth Anti-Drug Campaign

As I stated earlier, NWN2 plays almost identical to its predecessor. Even with the revised DnD 3.5 rules, there is little change from the strategies and overall “feel” of the original. For my campaign I chose the monk class, which is the same class I played through NWN with – the experience was the same right down to the weapons and armor I ended up with.
I wonder what he expected. I also wonder why he thinks that gameplay is about weapons & armor.

I don't agree with everything the review states including the actual score; but he's right on many a time. You are the retard. Period.

Especially considering monks have such a huge array of possible weapons they can use effectively.

In unrelated news, the German magazine Gamestar claims (by words of a few journalists, not just one) that NWN2 is "oldschool". ROTFL!

I hear that anything involving reading is "old-school" now. If you can't listen to it on your mind control devi....err iPod, it's "old-school". If Oprah likes it, it's "old-school". And last but not least, if it doesn't have celebrity voice acting it's "old-school".
