The Obsidian people have judged, deliberated, and conducted nerve-grilling meetings about it, but they've made a decision and have announced the winners of our Mask of the Betrayer contest. I'll spoil it for you right now: Andreas, through his multiple elaborately-explained submissions, takes first prize. The other four participants are all runners-up, as we need to get rid of those prizes somehow. Big thanks and congratulations go out to the participants as well as to Obsidian for providing the nifty goodies.

One of the possible reasons for the small number of participants is, well, not many people really thought of HOW they could show the multiple lines and whatnot.

And because a lot of people thought perhaps it wasn't really worth it to try to win a game they're already playing, unless they have a friend that they really really want to give the game to.

Or unless they pirated it and wanted to get an original for free.

That and it's silly to enter a contest by showing one of the limited amount of consequences designed by someone else and probably discovered by tons of people before you.

...and also, since these choices and consequences pics are by nature spoilerish, those who have not played the game are likely to stay away from it much less actually participate and those who have already played it wont exactly get encouraged to "win" another copy of that which they already own. If they like game so much so as to gift someone else, well...they would most likely purchase it, instead of trying thier luck in such contests which in case they dont won would need to purchase anwyays...so, who was the target audience of this cotest, I wonder.

Still, congrats to all winners. :)
