You’d like to commit a video game but you don’t have 35 years of experience, you’re not programming in 2000 computer languages and you can’t drive a tractor? On the other hand, are you able to commit yourself, you like what you do and want to develop your skills?

If you answered ‘yes’ to both those questions, then we’d like to invite you to our young, dynamic and totally creative team! We guarantee lots of ease, nice work atmosphere and loads of good fun… till crunch, when average coffee consumption exceeds 5 litres per person and the day lasts 32 hours...

Among the new jobs offer is one of PS3 programmer, which, in addition to the X360 programmer job offered earlier makes a console port fairly certain. Is this the new project that is about to be announced today?

Not a bad spin on the usual job offers. If I can drive a tractor, does this disqualify me?

The Witcher would seem like it was well suited to a console port. I'd hope for something more exciting than that as an announcement of a new project, but I'll settle for freebies for now.

Yep, if you wish to live in Warsaw with a Polish salary, go ahead. Funnily they don't say anything like 'competitive salary' on the offers.

I would expect that the eligible Poles would know all about their major cities and Polish wages, I suppose. Of course no one goes into the games industry for the wages. At least not that sort of position. I hope for their sake they are offering more than "all the coffee you can drink" though.

And while Polish salaries might be low for people from e.g. Western Europe, they might be high for ones from Eastern Europe.

Good point. How does Poland compare to some of the other Eastern European and CIS states now for that?

You can't compare income rawly becouse of diferent expenses of living, bread 1$< services like dentist ~40$ in Warsaw, beer in pub ~2.50$ and if somebody want to specifically works on video games it is not like there is many jobs open. Decent flat on good location ~500$/month.
