Interactions with the local populace are very limited and are ripped right from the dialog system of Oblivion. Whatever else it's nice to see a professional gaming website that isn't constantly sucking Bethesda's cock. I guess ZeniMax' bribe budged wasn't enough to cover the non-english sites.

True, it doesn't matter at all. The game will sell like hotcakes and the Codex will be invaded by Bethesda morons who wonder why we don't like the game and the downward spiral of the Codex will continue.[/doom & gloom]

No. We will be invaded by Oblivion fans who resent Fallout 3 because it was "dumbed down from Oblivion". Same thing happened when Oblivion came out and the Moronwinders fled here.

Would it even be possible to make a game dumber than Oblivion without creating a black hole of stupidity that consumes the world?

It doesn't really bother me that millions of people like Oblivion. People also like Nascar, WWE, romance novels and daytime soaps. But in other forms of culture there is a clear recognition of what is quality and what is trash, while the gaming media has declared that Oblivion is an undisputed classic, completely ignoring the large number of people who find it completely unsatisfying. It's as if Danielle Steele or Tom Clancy were suddenly awarded the Nobel price in literature.

I heard that inXile Entertainment (Brian Fargo) bought the rights to Wasteland from EA a while ago, but now Tim Cain is making it? That's a new one.
