They have mixed feelings about the expansion, saying it's not really worth $30. LoA ends up with an effective score of 6.8 out of 10.

The new voice acting gives a new definition to cheesy. Now when you tell your party members to move they'll offer up their thoughts on the situation. Some thoughts are better left unsaid. For instance, when I'd command a character to open up a crate (of which there are a ton) he'd say, "I am not afraid." He shouldn't be; it's a crate. It won't hurt, I promise. And that's just the random voice bits. When you hit the first boss in a dungeon you are greeted by what is supposed to be a sinister sounding spider, but in reality sounds like a raspy Grandmother. The soundtrack and the ambient sounds are well done though doing an effective job at setting the mood.

Given that bashing crates is the only thing you have to do yourself in Dungeon Siege, they probably should have made it more exciting. Maybe a barrel smashing skill and fun quips like "Have at you, wooden loot-bearing fiend! ROOOOAR!"
