Looks fucking mediocre. There's just nothing in it that would give me a thrill. Random generated weapons are nice, but I would prefer several carefuly handmade weapons that are fun to play with, over gazillions of boring random crap.

Looks fucking boring.
I don't care if there is 10 or 9000 weapons, if the gameplay is brough down to random shooting.

mindless shooter+diabloesque item randomization+vehicles+ability tweaking=awesome.

unless you don't like mindless shooters, which i very much do, at least once in a while. looks like hellgate done right, though hellgate looked like hellgate done right too before release...

What is this, the ugly retarded offspring of Half Life and Halo? What am I looking at here? It looks like a shooter without atmosphere, without intelligent AI, and "immersing" the player in way too much pitch black, along with weapons that do not require any strategic thought. I'm struggling to see why this is in the RPG news section.

"Harvesting loot." I like the sound of that.

I originally thought the procedural weapon generation would be cool, but upon further consideration it actually reminds me a lot of the generic weapons from Anarchy Online. It also seems like there are too many weapons. This would make sense in a war zone, but if they are going for a Mad Max type of feel, I always thought that fewer weapons + *very* rare ammo made for a better atmosphere. Then again, this is a shooter. Shooters with very few guns and rare ammo make for boring games.

It could still be fun though. I just wish it wasn't so friggin' consoley.

I hate those big and ugly consolizated crosshairs that doesn't shows middle. I've managed to live with them in Timeshift but Mass Effect was too much...

i like them as long as there are abilities associated with the size/speed of decrease of those consolish circles, since it shifts aiming from player to character skill.

I actually do a lot of real world shooting and my crosshairs look totally different.
