A character generator for the Lovecraft-inspired crpg Cyclopean has been <a href="http://www.irontowerstudio.com/forum/index.php?topic=582.0">released</a>, so that we all can have fun creating and fine-tuning our serial killers and carnival mystics. The generator is an swf file (<a href="http://www.irontowerstudio.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=582.0;attach=2571">direct link</a>) which is openable with Firefox (I tried with Opera and IE, too - to no avail). Be sure to carefully read the <a href="http://www.irontowerstudio.com/forum/index.php?topic=582.0">release notes</a>.

OH GOD IT'S HEAVAN!

If every buck made from AoD goes into this, I'll buy several copies.

Hmm, I've only been fiddling with this for a few minutes, but my med school dropout can't learn how to drive without putting 25 points into mechanics? Seems a bit silly to me...

*edit* apparently I also need to know "crippling blow" with clubs or "aimed shot" with gun skills in order to learn "advanced physiology". I dunno... this seems a little hokey so far. Some of this stuff might be better accomplished with perks or the like.

It would make more sense the other way around. A knowledge of anatomy should enable you to make more damaging and crippling attacks.

Hmmm. The concept is looking great and the background ideas are great (need about 10 times as many).

However, wow, some of the skill stuff makes no damn sense.

Strange, I opened with Opera and IE without problems...
