NDL has announced that Irrational's Freedom Force and versus the Third Reich will use their brand new Gamebryo graphics engine, the successor to Netimmerse engine used in the first Freedom Force, as well as in Morrowind.

Gamebryo’s advanced graphics features enable the programmers to showcase the Freedom Force characters and create a new dimension to the classic comic books of the 1960s. Features such as character skinning allow great-looking characters and bone level-of-detail allows the artists to create dozens of life-like characters on screen at any one time. Gamebryo's character tools also allow the artists to easily edit and tweak animations to get just the right look for each superhero.

Dark Age of Camelot (the MMO I play) uses/used NetImmerse too, the latest expansion updates it to Gamembyro and it's a pretty good engine.

It can support alot of people on the screen on once without a hitch and I wonder if that SpeedTree thing is a part of Gamembyro, DAoC used Speedtree and they had the most beutifull trees. omg kewl grfx

I think the new Pirates! game will use this engine as well, so I hope it's good.
