<a target=_blank href=http://www.troikagames.com>Troika</a>'s <a target=_blank href=http://www.greyhawkgame.com>Temple of Elemental Evil</a> is about to be published in Poland, after a little delay, and <a target=_blank href=http://www.cdprojekt.info>CD Projekt</a>, the Polish publisher of the game, has also made a little surprise for Polish players. At midnight 15/16th January, first <b>666</b> (teh horror!) registered CD Projekt forum users will be able to preorder a <a target=_blank href=http://www.cdprojekt.info/felieton.asp?tid=792>special, limited collector's edition</a> of the game, first in the <i><a target=_blank href=http://www.cdprojekt.info/bialykruk>White Raven</a></i> (a Polish expression for "rarity") series. This edition will include:<ul>
<br>
<li>A special, 2-element box
<br>
</li><li>Spiral bound manual on gloss paper
<br>
</li><li>Map of the game's area (on better paper than in the normal edition)
<br>
</li><li>A spiral bound strategy guide/walkthrough
<br>
</li></ul>
<br>
These things will also be included (actually, they're also included in the normal Polish edition):
<br>
<ul>
<br>
</li><li>Bonus CD with the aforementioned guide and all <a target=_blank href=http://www.co8.org>Circle of Eight</a> mods and tools.
<br>
</li><li>The Temple of Elemental Evil novel (not that it's any good...)
<br>
</ul>
<br>
The only new edition of ToEE America will ever see will probably be a bargain bin one.

You bastards get a halfway decent CD case, too. We just got a pair of paper envelopes.

Edit: Hey, Ausir, help me out with this sentence from that page:

"Świątynia bardzo przypomina gry z serii Baldur`s Gate"

My pidgin Polish tells me "something something something something Baldur's Gate Series". Are they saying ToEE is a BG game or something?

My top 3 guesses:

1. From the creators of Baldur's Gate series
2. The final chapter in BG series
3. Much better then the whole BG series :lol:

Probably, but Ausir has told us CD Projekt would have us believe ToEE is from the creators of Fallout, Icewind Dale and Lionheart.

No, it's Lionheart that was made by the makers of FO, IWD and BG.

Yeah, no imagination whatsover, if you gonna bullshit then do it with style, weave the tale so unbelievable that it gotta be true, throw in drama, suspense, intrigue, and some hype. Tell the readers the story of Black Isle, of an uber BG3 game they were working on, of assasins sent by evil Bioware to stop BG3, of slain Feargus (a good story has to have a tragic death, sorry, Fearg) who sent a beta to Troika before he died, and of course of Troika, who completed the great work but was forced to misdirect everyone's attention by silly quests and godawful voices, and hint that a secret BG3 level will be unlocked once the temple quests are completed in the right order. Now that's a good bullshit. What do they have? vanilla "very similar to the BG series" *sighs* :lol:

"ToEE resembles / is very similar to Falling out : brotherhood of steel". Sounds crazy in Polish.
