<a href="http://dwellonit.blogspot.com/2009/04/fallout-television-show.html">Simple trademark protection or coming soon</a>? Though if it were simple trademark protection, why didn't they do it earlier:

It'd be like <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jericho_(TV_series)">Jericho</a> or <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremiah_(TV_series)">Jeremiah</a>. IE: It'd be cancelled after two seasons and the film would suck.
