And after that the game can still be played! If, on the other hand, a player wants to play all the side quests too, we're talking about 100+ playing hours. There's a heck of a lot of side quests in this big world of Antaloor (60 square miles) - which, by the way, consists of islands this time around. Much of the surface area is actually water - but since the developers have introduced a new sailboat feature, it’s no hindrance to players!

The final boss should be allowed to grow wings and extra fangs etc if the player takes too long to reach the final encounter. Like Akakabuto, the last monster should gather his own troops and increase his own strength while the player increases his own.

Oh gods, don't remind me. One of the best action RPG combat systems, and you get to use all those cool items, and then it's a fucking idiotic jumping minigame. R00fles.

Not if they handle things intelligently with SMART level scaling. The boss, at minimum, hsould be at mid range levels so if you go there ASAP, it should be near impossible. And, if you wait too long, it should wreck some real damage. of course, since we don't know what the end boss.. *shrug*
