Obsidian is taking that romance concept to a whole new level.

According to ESBR Fallout: NV will contain "sexual activities with a robot".

This is an action role-playing game, set in a post-apocalyptic Mojave Desert, in which players assume the role of a survivor hero who investigates a mystery and performs a series of quests. Missions allow players to explore the Mojave Desert, surrounding casinos, and abandoned facilities; other quests involve combat with human and mutant survivors. Players use chainsaws, laser rifles, knives, and sledgehammers to kill enemies. Fighting can be frenetic and intense, highlighted by various camera effects (e.g., slow motion, blurring, screen shakes) and depictions of dismemberment, blood spray, and blood trails. In one sequence, players can choose to activate a collar bomb around a slave-woman's neck, resulting in depictions of blood and gore. During the course of the game, players will encounter male and female prostitutes: the screen fades to black as suggestive dialogue is heard in the background (e.g., "Nice charlies, too! Give them a shake for the Ben-man, will ya?"); there is also an extended sequence suggesting (no depiction) sexual activity with a robot (e.g., "Fisto reporting for duty . . . Please assume the position," "I suppose I should test you out . . . Servos active!" and "Something wrong with someone if they got to f**k a machine."). The storyline sometimes references a fictional drug called "chems," as well as "Day Trippers," "cracked out junkies," and "degenerate, drug-addicted killers." Players' Character can be seen consuming the drugs, which sometimes leads to a screen-blurring effect.

Those little tidbits remind me of the old Fallout. If MCA can turn a bad game like FO3 into a good game through a mere expansion then he truly is a god among men. Keeping my fingers crossed while trying not to get my hopes up.

Yeah Bethesda really raped Failout 3 with all that dumbed down shit, didn't it?
Thank god Avellone came and added tasteful sex with robots to it and now the game is totally like old Fallout.

The writing is totally better than in Beth Failout 3

It's just a detail to add atmosphere. It isn't a core plot or gameplay element. So, yeah, I would say it is a lot like the old fallout. Don't confuse MCA's writing with Bethesda's There is no comparison. That's the difference. I have confidence in Avellone's abilities to pull off that kind of stuff. It won't be a problem. The problem will be whether they can rescue all of the extremely poor game mechanics. That worries me a lot more.

Two words:
Magical GECK.

Yes because Cherry 2000, a movie set on post-apocalyptic United States starting Melanie Griffith was never made in 1987.

No, read other previews, they add a lot more than robot sex, different ways to finish quests like the true fallouts, skills and stats matters a lot more, like you want get dynamite from the old guy , he wont give it to you except if you are a pro with explosives and show him you are competent, or if you have female character and use your charisma. The fact they add sex is just a little plus , you had in fallout as well.

Dudes. No amount of MCA writing will save this shit. It's still the Fallout 3 engine. This is like arguing that MoTB was an improvement over NWN2. It wasn't.

Is this sarcasm? I hope you aren't actually expecting anyone to agree with you.
