Another very short preview, this time about Vampire: Bloodlines and over at WarCry. The article contains Whitney Butts' (hee hee hee) impressions from the Gen Con demo.

Bloodlines can be played in both the first person and the third person view. Third if players prefer melee, first if players prefer the weapons. It is even possible to use a combination of both, as it is easy to switch between the two. Characters level up and can alter and improve skills and stats only at mission completion so there is no experience for individual kills. Characters can also be more social than other and social characters have opportunities to talk their way out of battles when possible.

There isn't really anything new here, though the article alleges that the game is in the testing phase, suggesting that release may be impending.

The game is currently in beta. It was originally meant be some sort of closed beta with subscribers and applicants but that has since changed because of the whole Source engine code theft dealie, so it's in internal QA beta testing now - Activision's boys.
