I'm glad to see that Larian are supporting the game, even though I never came across any serious bug in my playthrough. Btw, every game should include an autopatcher.

A nice patch removed compatibility with previous saves. Be happy to start again.

A nice patch changed gameplay, in the middle of game...

A nice patch killed autopatching feature, and you must either, install a new game, or survive 1.7 GB of data to be able to play the game.

An autopatcher detected a new patch. Servers are overloaded and it takes 3 hours to download and apply it.

An autopatcher changed your GFX settings to default, unplayable, configuration.

I thought Steam autopatching was one of most hated Steam features.

Autopatching sucks arse. The worst is the type that doesn't actually download a patch but patches on the fly, meaning that if for whatever reason you decide to reinstall the game later and have no access to the internet or the game company goes tits up, then you're left with an unpatchable game.

Too bad they couldn't patch out the crappy derpa roads/fortress thing. Though, glad to see them still supporting their game. :salute:

Granted, those are all valid points against autopatchers. I just think they're more convenient than tracking down each patch.

What fortress thing exactly? I recall reading some post about changes to the DKS version regarding mandatory fortresses.

I only found one mandatory fortress to go through for the main quest and that consisted of basically dropping out of dragon shape on top of a portal in the fortress that teleported me to an interior location, thus avoiding fighting against all those creatures inside the fortress and anti-dragon machines if I so chose.

Also never came across any bugs in DKS.

This has to be one of THE most pointless change-log for a patch, in a news, ever.
