There is also a review of the game in PC Zone UK that was released on the 29th of October, but it isn't online yet.

What sort of system requirements does the game have? Also, I've read from a few post from people who've played the original that the translations are sub-par, so I was wondering if they've been improved in the sequel. It would be nice to play a real cRPG again, but consistently bad grammer/spelling in any game that is text intensive bugs me and ruins my enjoyment of the game so I'm usually leary of foreign titles.

The state of insanity.
System requirements are in the P2 range. They list them on the site. There's even a demo available. I was getting like 1.2kb/s download speed from their server though, so I axed that pretty fucking fast. :?

Edit: The only problem I had with the original was the voice acting. My god was it horrid. At first it was humorous because it was like playing through some bad kung fu movie, but it got old and nerve racking pretty damn fast. Other than that though, the game was wonderful fun. I look forward to SOE. I just hope they get better voice actors this time. :P

I'm not sure about the System Requirements but I could play it on my old 1.8ghz with Geforce Ti4200 with no noticeable issues.

The translations have been improved tremendously, since they hired a proper studio from Taiwan to do the translations this time. The dialogue is dubbed in English for the UK version but they are considering using the Mandarin dialogue for the American release later. I think that they should go with the Mandarin dialogue, too. The actors are much, much better. Tarantino's doing that with his new movie, too.

Interesting. Perhaps I will check it out when I actually have some time to spend online at home. Then again, downloading on dial-up might be more than I can handle. I'll wait until I read the Codex review probably. :)

The voiceovers in the UK version are horrendous but the translation is pretty good, although a few errors still exist.

Last week I ordered something from Amazon, if I knew SoE would be coming out I'd have waited another week.

And play.com still doesn't ship to Portugal! :?

And the terrible voice-acting would probably go unnoticed by all of us gwai los. :D
