<p>GameBanshee <a href="http://www.gamebanshee.com/news/102875-drakensang-phileassons-secret-released-on-steam.html" target="_blank">bears witness</a> that <a href="http://www.drakensang.com/news.php#0" target="_blank"><strong>Drakensang: Phileasson's Secret</strong></a> is now available for purchasing in North America via the usual digital outlets. Expect "top quality cutscenes" and "several new unique characters" all for $9.99.</p>
<blockquote>"Phileasson's Secret" continues the popular Drakensang franchise with an epic new chapter. Phileasson is one of the most important characters in the world of "The Dark Eye" and his story is very popular among pen &amp; paper fans, fitting perfectly within the Drakensang series.<br /><br />Ending some weeks before the events of 'River of Time', the "Phileasson Campaign" enjoys a similar setting and atmosphere, creating a great opportunity for expanding the adventures of the famous Thorwaler Phileasson.<br /><br />"The River of Time" has already introduced the river itself, dubious pirates and many secrets which can be connected to the "Phileasson Campaign", making this 'Add-On' very authentic and a natural continuation of the unique world of Aventuria.</blockquote>

River of Time is set before Drakensang. The addon is set before River of Time. Why the hell are they making the games backwards?!

The P&P campaign is set before TRoT. The add-on takes place after the P&P campaign, during TRoT and basically continues from the P&P campaign as a side quest.

The Phileasson expedition (P&P campaign) started in 1007 BF and ended in 1009 BF, the year in which RoT takes place.

A year before RoT Phileasson freed the Elven king Fenvarien from Tie'Shianna (Gwendala tells you about that in RoT), in the expansion apparently Phileasson goes back to fetch Fenvarien's daughter.
