Hmmm, I don't really know what to say. The music is alright, but it's just not "Gothic". The first 2 game's soundtrack used a lot of pipes and strings (lute, especially), and sounded very subdued and ambient but this sounds like a big-budget movie soundtrack. Hopefully it's just cutscene music...:?

I got the same feeling. Was expecting more peaceful ambient themed music. But then I thought this is going to be 3rd part of the series and naturally highpoint, so it really doesn't bug me off if they make it sound little grander. And those pieces are probably meant for some spectacle anyway.

The first one kinda reminds me of Gothic original theme...
But the DivinePowers is just... i dunno, some crunched up snipped...
WEll, of course, those are just "demo" versions, and not even filtered and stuff. So i guess it's too early to say anything about the overall theme and style.

Pretty grand theme. And I guess the first is a medley showcasing various themes that will be featured in the soundtrack. It seems to have a single central theme, though, pretty cool.

I like the second song better. Seems like most of it is a variation of the theme in the first one.

I'd imagine the first song is what'll play when you first walk into the capital city.
