Not long fter both John Romero and J.E. Sawyer have left the project, Midway has apparently canned the PC version of the upcoming Gauntlet game. There's been no official announcement of this, just a confirmation of it by Midway at <a href=http://www.3dgamers.com/news/more/1096482419/>3D Gamers</a>. The console versions are apparently still on track.

Gauntlet is a classic arcade RPG released in 1985 and designed by the legendary Ed Logg. You young whippersnappers never remember anything!

The dude's a legend. He also made asteroids and centipede, which when those games came out I could barely reach the buttons on the front of the machine.
