Remember that Witcher 3 three-part gameplay demo from E3 back in June? Yesterday at Gamescom, some folks from CD Projekt sat down with a representative from IGN to show off yet another demo, that continues the story from E3. It begins with Geralt scaling a mountain and slaying some harpies in search of a cure for the muteness of his strange little companion, Johnny. After regaining his speech, it quickly turns out that Johnny doesn't quite fit the stereotype of the Yoda-esque wise hermit creature, but he does put Geralt in touch with an old lady who is the earthly representative of the powerful "Ladies of the Wood"...

The new content starts at around 4:20 and lasts for about ten minutes. Interestingly, the demonstration ends with Geralt receiving a mission to defeat an evil power near the village of Downwarren - which brings us to the official teaser that was released on Wednesday. Very clever, CD Projekt.

Here hoping John John Godling will not appear in the game anymore. He seems so fucking annoying.
