Review Bard's Tale decent per CGW

They think it was a pretty decent game and rate it <b>4/5</b>.<blockquote>Still, The Bard's Tale won me over in a fairly big way. Above all, the writing and voice acting are far superior to most other videogames'. It's rare for a game to be actually funny, but this one has numerous laugh-out-loud moments, including a quest to find a guy in a village where everyone shares the same name. I'd say Wasteland, given the fact that Obsidian can make good games if they are given enough time.

Maybe you should ask which we dread more.

I found the Bard's Tale demo horrible. Or maybe ok in a "I just don't care" way rather. Which, given I was interested in the game before playing the demo, is pretty horrible.

I thought inXile was making Wasteland and Obsidian was making NWN2.

The Bard's Tale is the kind of lighthearted fare that helps remind us that--once in a while--maybe we shouldn't take this all so seriously.

Maybe one day someone in the industry will actually take it serious.

Bah, got mixed up, my mistake. Well I guess we shall need to wait for more info to be released about both F3 and Wasteland.
