I thought the Codex didn't like Bloodlines and won't post news about it.?

Well... we post news on both KOTOR and NWN for instance? And I personally actually look forward to Bloodlines, no matter that it's not isometric. I think there has been (and still are) some misgivings among the codex crew as too how much a RPG Bloodlines will turn out - but I'm not that worried personally.

Is it just me or is this game getting a lot more hype than previous Troika games?

No, it's not only you. Better publisher = more PR and the Source engine itself brings a lot of hype.

I said I wasn't as interested in it as I was in the previous games Troika's done. I post news about lots of things I'm interested in even less than Bloodlines.

Cheer up a bit, what I wrote wasn't meant to be a bash in any way. It's pretty obvious to anyone who's part of this community that the Codex would even post news about a new Infinity engine game.

My fear o meter grows with the increasing hype.

In a purely hypothetical situation where Bloodlines would be a well done RPG with actual choices, consequences, deep conversation system, and other stuff that we like so much, the hype that is based around a popular subject and HL2 engine could also draw attention to proper rpg mechanics and elements.
