Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
The game sounded pretty neat, but that video makes it look really boring.

Hi everyone! Dev for Decimation here. First off, thanks so much for posting the pitch vid for our game Whisky.

Thanks for the constructive feedback on the pitch video. It sets a rather contemplative tone especially during the second half because we wanted the viewer to be able to follow what was being said in the voiceover. The actual battles in the game (like the one shown during the first half), is where the most of the action in the game is going to be. Although its definitely not yet as polished as what we envision the completed battles are going to look and feel like in Decimation, we hope that it communicates the direction we are moving towards. We have a lot of work to do, as we are just approaching alpha at this point, and the primary reason for the campaign is to be able to properly staff the team to work on the game full time and finish it a year from funding (it is just me working on the game full time at the moment, and the rest of the team are pitching in outside of their day jobs). :)

That being said, it is more of a 4x game than anything else so in between the battles that you choose to engage in, gameplay is geared a lot more towards the exploration, research , base & resource management and unit customization aspects of the game. We're working on a lot more content that is going to be more representative of the game as a whole, and if you're interested, you can check out our updates at http://www.finalelementgames.com/, or the actual indiegogo campaign at http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/decimation/x/3663782.

Thanks for your time and feel free to ask us anything about the game. :)

Cheers!
