Domination: Sequel to Massive Assault

I just noticed that the game was released a couple of months ago and I was wondering if any of you guys have tried it out. If so, what do you think? I liked the original somewhat, but it wasn't that great. According to the 'overview' on the domination website (http://www.domination-game.com/uk/domi.htm) it's got a whole bunch of new strategies and from the looks of the screenshots, it's been given a graphical upgrade. Any good?

There's a guy called Rex Exitium who hangs around here at the Codex who could probably fill you in. He seems to be up on MMORPG's. Bit of a whiner though. He's likely to come along and say the game's really great and then in a month's time whinge about it and how much it sucks or something.

To be honest, I haven't seen him around for a while though. It's likely his head might've exploded due to all that pent-up rage.

I'm going to be just as unhelpful and only slightly less fucktardly, and second the question. I thought the first was kinda fun, but didn't hold my interest long. So if this is more of the same, I'm not interested, but if it's a real improvement, I'd be tempted to pick it up - I'm currently burning through old PSX games via emulation, and am ready for a real computer game.

I picked it up yesterday and so far, I'm really liking it, aside from the fact it contains quite possibly the worst writing and voice-acting ever. I mean, one of the actresses pronounces "colonel" "koll-o-nell". What the fuck, mang?

Where is the character supposed to be from? That's how its pronounced in most non-English languages where the spelling is the same.

Russia, I think. I've haven't really payed attention to the storyline and shit, too busy focusing on the infinitely better gameplay.
