Without a doubt Lucas Arts' and Bioware's Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was among the greatest games of 2003. This game runs away with Best Graphics, Best Music, Best Single Player, and Best Role Playing Game. With a compelling storyline, KOTOR takes place over 4,000 years before the first Star Wars film. The visuals are absolutely breathtaking. Character models are greatly detailed, animations and lip-synching are splendid, and the environments make you feel as if you were really there. The Star Wars franchise has always delivered the best music found in gaming. Jeremy Soule, composer and musician, contributed greatly to this title. As a fan of role playing games, or someone new to the genre, KOTOR is easy to learn and adapt to
