ABOUT THIS GAME

The end times are here - the Great Lord of Fire has decreed it! Let everything burn!

Fernageddon is a RPG/strategy game, with the focus on character development, finding loot, and tactical turn-based combat.
Oh, and burning things.

Begin as a humble aspiring champion to the Great Fire God. Slowly gain skills and favour, learn spells, find followers and legendary weapons.

Eventually, if you succeed, demonhood beckons... And having gone so far, it seems only fair to try and assume the great fiery throne, too...

FEATURES

A deep and detailed turn-based combat system with many factors determining success.

Explore the world in 3D - find lost dungeons, mighty cities and legendary locations.

Fight numerous enemies, from the mundane (militia and raiders), to the exotic (elves and dwarfs), to the monstrous (dragons and demons).

Gain experience with each fight and develop your skills. (200+)

52 different professions! (Initial choice of 4 which branch into others at level 5 and 10)

Gain glory with each conquest, and gain gifts from the Fire God.

Recruit a great army of followers - man, beast and even horrors from beyond...

Fail to please your fickle master and His ennui will rise - if this gets too high, He will give you "rewards" of His own choosing...

Burn them all and bring on The Fernageddon!

AI cell-shaded sprites combined with 3D tiles are jarring combination.
Idea and gameplay could be good, but visuals are awful.

The "isometric"/turn based visual could still be good and acceptable.

But the first person visual, without any physics of tree and boulders that you can go through.

Interesting, anyway.

The other way around.

The first person visual is total Lords of Midnight worship, lifted 100% from more modern remakes like War of the Solstice:

OTOH, that combat over minecraft terrain makes my eyes bleed. A flat 2D would be much less of a cancer.
