Anyone played this? Is it as good as looks at first glance? Why is there no Western release?
Looks really kinda interesting, please tell me there's an English romhack available somewhere (or in the works at least)! :/

Yes, looks like a King's Field clone with superb atmosphere at first glance. But then there seems to be a story, some kind of dialog options, items like letters etc. which probably contain hints about the game world etc. I don't want to bruteforce a game like that, I want to play it; because if it is indeed that, a King's Field clone, it's better than most AAA games of the last 10 years or so. Why did this not have a Western release again? 
But then again, maybe it's shit and that's why there's no Western release or romhack?

it looks like recent translation attempts (here's another) haven't really gone anywhere. if you're very desperate, and you can deal with only having a general idea of the story, try out a machine translation and pray for the best (also interesting)
