I bought it after liking the demo. Its not a very deep game, it's based around using various combinations of elements to cast spells. Unfortunately, there are combinations that are way superior to the others. It's a balance issue. It's kind of like Diablo, except it's even more of a lawn mower simuator, but it's much harder than Diablo 2 just because the boss fights. It's weird because it's not about numbers.

I got it on reccomendation of some friends. It's buggy as hell, but so far it's been goddman hilarious in multiplayer. There's friendly fire, and a great deal of "accidentally" offing your mates when you cross the beams.

I like the magic system. It has 10 elements (water, life, shield, cold, lightning, magic, earth, fire, steam, ice), which can be cast in 4 different ways (normal, aoe, self, enchant weapon). you can charge up to 5 elements at the same time before casting, creating wierd and wonderful effects. for example, earth+shield cast as AoE will make a ring of rock around you. Enchanting your weapon with shield will make its next attack create a barrier. Steam+magic+lightning creates a wicked death laz0r beam and so forth.

Adding the magic element to a spell will make its normal version shoot as a beam you can aim. Adding the earth element, conversely, will allow you to throw it as a projectile. (For example, earth+fire = fireball). Beams can be combined in multiplayer, but if they contain opposing elements (such as fire and cold) they will explode violently when they cross.

It's definately great fun, but really only shines in multiplayer. also, it's still buggy as hell, so be warned it will crash and glitch on you.
