Last i heard, Bruce Timm was considered persona non gratis because of the killing joke animation which is why i gave a fabulously optimistic rating, the kind of devs who made a moral grandstand about female costumes sure af won’t prop up that dude’s work in current year.

Bruce Timm has been a producer on something every year since that came out, and he's doing that Caped Crusader cartoon (and actually doing the designs) that'll probably end up on Netflix with The Batman director and JJ Abrams.

going for something realistic looking just seems like the most boring way of going about a Marvel vs DC crossover.
If such game happens, you bet your ass that's what they would go for
But I doubt since DC and Marvel don't really like to mix - even Busiek's cool crossover was very uncertain if it was going to happen

Also is that really Bruce's Timm's artwork?
Didn't know he liked Marvel...

Marvel and DC don't do comic book crossovers anymore because Joe Quesada was a fucking moron and pissed the higher ups at DC off a couple years after becoming the EIC. But a Marvel vs DC video game would be over the heads of anyone on the comic book side, and Marvel (as well as Disney owned Lucasfilm) has worked with WB Interactive in the past to do the Marvel Lego games. WB's last Marvel Lego game was just a few years ago. So WB has a working relationship with Marvel, and WB has a studio that seemingly wants to make Marvel games. It's also not like Marvel is against the idea of crossovers anymore. There were two Marvel vs Capcom games in the 2010s, and I've got to imagine putting those fighting game deals together was a bigger deal than any comic book ones since the '90s.

Yeah, it's actually his. He doesn't work much for Marvel, he's done some stuff, but it's not hard to find stuff he's just done of Marvel characters. I think the last official work he did for Marvel was a two page dream sequence in All New X-Men #25 back in 2014.

Honestly with how things are currently going DC might be more interested in a crossover than Marvel.

I always wanted a Mortal Kombat RPG. Its such a well written world for the simple fighting game it is.

But *this* is not the kind of "rpg" I wanted. Not at all.

MK:Deception has "Konquest" mode.
Not technically an RPG,but you can explore the realms, collect stuff(extra costumes for characters),take part in fight challenges etc.

I've played every MK lol. Deceptions psuedo-RPG mode (and worldbuilding very similar to Planescape aesthetically) really made me want a Mortal Kombat tabeltop ruleset for over a decade now. I would settle for a full-on MK tactical RPG or some such. A mobile gacha though? Kill me

Jade and Kitana look like trash. They really butchered their costumes.
They turned Jade from a hot waifu into a Hijab housewife.
REALISTIC WOMMYN WARRIORS! but they still wearing high heels. even is this pic.

MK11 is my personal favorite for nearly all costumes. Some of those customizations go hard. Kitana and Shao Kahn especially.

That new MK:Legends animation (Snow Blind) movie has insane body count:

Shang Tsung
Kano
Kira
Kobra
Kabal
Dairou
Ferra/Torr
Erron Black
No-Face
Tremor
Jarek
Drahmin
Nightwolf

Add kills from two previous movies and fith title (the 4th is already confirmed - Cage Match) will be known as 'Hsu Hao - The Early Years' or something.

Hsu Hao isnt even that bad. For the 3D era especially. Having wrestling as a fighting style and Sun and Moon blades as a weapon style really made him stand out.

This franchise has become a joke.
Good job Ed Boon, you Chicago cunt.
Turning an awesome and bloody fighting game franchise that fought tooth and nail against game censorship into a completely emasculated Warner Bros tween fantasy franchise.
They ruined Jade. No...
Not Jade and her boobs. It is a crime against humanity.

I had no idea this exists. And it was made by two guys from Lords of Acid. Pretty fuckin' cool...

Also, let's all take a minute to again appriciate Kerri Hoskins. Four kids and 25 years later.

On October 18th, 2022, Hoskins posted a video to Instagram revealing that her psychologist concluded that she may be on the autism spectrum. She stated that she will be undergoing further evaluation with a specialist before a formal diagnosis would be made.
She's... perfect.

Yeah, they created the iconic theme song that was used in the movie. It actually wasn't made for the movie, it was on Mortal Kombat: The Album that was released one year earlier as a celebration for the console release of Mortal Kombat.

Also I kinda like Kano and Johnny Cage's themes.

Is this game any good for casual fun wise? It's over 70 GB and I don't want to dedicate my slow internet to just to download a mediocre game.
