Because I like still being able to play older games, I've kept WinXP (SP2) for my current rig, which I upgrade personally.
There seems to be one little problem with older (pre-XP) games that isn't as easy to fix as just using compatibility mode/installers like Winlaunch, and that is when the game reads your memory in Kilobytes instead of Megabytes; or Megabytes instead of Gigabytes.
One of the games I seem to be having this little problem with, is Myth Fallen Lords. (Game was released 1997) Is my only hope here to download a copy of Win 95 and putting it on VPC?
Is there no other way to circumvent this OS idiocyncracy without actually using an earlier WIn OS than XP? Such as editing the .ini file or some other file?
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
