Did you know about this project? It supposedly automaps old and new text adventures, perhaps not 100 % accurately though, and lets you add notes to rooms. Can't find any previous mention here, but maybe someone is interested. (I'm too lazy to start drawing maps myself, so might be enough to get me to try these games again.)

Excellent tool, especially for old IFs (which had really large maps). Contemporary productions deal with it better (smaller, simpler, more recognisable topologies), but still could be a useful help to have.

I am curious as to how it works with mazes that don't have any distinguishing marks or rooms that link back in on themselves. Trizbort might be the technically inferior tool, but with those kinds of things it can be more helpful not having stuff automatically mapped for you.
