Dungeon Cleaners 2 a.k.a.
Planet Alcatraz came out today. It's dumbed down sequel to dungeon cleaners 1 which wasn't published outside my country due to large amount of dialog to translate and lots of politically incorrect humour. It is tactical party based RPG. I.e. another attempt to create fallout1&2-like game. It's not a sandbox but it is also non-linear. There are situations where you have to choose between factions so not all quests can be completed in first playthrough. Also there are some mutually exclusive party members which adds to replayability. Good music, especially track in final mission, I listened to it for several hours after I finished game :D
Some cons. Dated graphics even worse than DAO. Not much interaction with party members, quests are lower quality than in old RPGs, main story is not as good as in ME or BG some balance issues(probably fixed in English version) Another problem with main quest that at one point it's not clear what to do next. Though if you pay close attention to hints that people tell to you it's not a big issue.
If you don't know what to play in one month left before DAO then you can try this game
PS As old school RPG fan despite all its flaws I still liked this game more than fallout 3 or drakensang.
PPS For those of you who don't like sidequests there is NG+/godmode i.e. your main character starts at max level so you can kill all your enemies in first town with knife only :D
PPPS Some
