It was made by two people, me (the writer) and my partner (the artist). We spent around 5 years making it, and then released on Steam. Not long ago i found this forums, and thought that people over here might be interested to see it.

A bit about the game, first, so you would know what to expect:

- The setting is sci-fi\dark fantasy

- Made on rpg maker, with with custom, hand-drawn graphics, cutscenes, animations.

- Due to the engine limitations and no programmer in team, it looks like 2d jrpg, and has ATB as a battle system, also it has a pre-made characters. But also it has a lot of elements from crpg's - choices and various endings for the quests, unique mechanics such as stealth, and multiple ways to complete some objectives.

- You won't need to grind here. Just be a bit smart if you ignore side quests.

- It's not a full-lenght story, just a 3-4 hours prologue. Yet it has it's own, finished storyline, few side quests, and overall introduction to the world and lore.

- It's a story-driven game, so except 50-50 text to gameplay sequences, sometimes even more text. Also, i decided to reduce overall basic enemy quantity in favour of having more unique boss fights.

Steam page where you can watch the trailer, screens and download it (the game is f2p): https://store.steampowered.com/app/526430/Project_Fire/

Would appreciate feedback.

i guess duller names weren't available.
It's actually explained in the story... or, should be, if we managed to make a full game, then it would make perfect sense. Sadly, power of just 2 people were not enough to make a full-scale rpg, so we decided to stop on the prologue.
