RPG Vault got tired of covering MMORPGs and expressed some interest in Seal of Evil, asking venerable Liu Jing, Wang Chun, and Shen Yi 4 pages worth of questions about the game.

Shen Yi: The character development system is based on the ancient Chinese Five element philosophy. In ancient China, the people believed that the whole world was made up by five basic elements - Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth (similar to Earth, Water, Air and Fire in the western world). In the game, players can allocate attribute points resulting from each upgrade to these five elements. Different allocations will affect not only players' attributes, but also their eligibilities to use certain equipment and skills.

The game has introduced the concept of Martial Skill. Each character will have a powerful skill that can be used only when Anger is full. Anger will be accumulated gradually when players kill their enemies. After it reaches the highest level, players can use their Martial Skill if necessary. Martial Skills can kill numerous enemies or a much more powerful Boss in a split second. Many skills in the game have hidden attributes. Supplemented with certain non-attack skills or weapons, a seemingly common skill may become extremely powerful. Besides, making things is also a kind of skill. This may be the most unusual skill in this game.

Hmm, I'm not sure about that... don't they know that anger leads to hate and all the way to the Dark Side?
