Now that's a fix-list.

Edit:
I've finally seen the game running, and I think it has massive potential.
Lets hope that they keep churning those fixes out.

After Boiling Point, I'm afraid I can't expect anything serious from that company. I know they are beggining, I know most games come with bugs, but BP was clearly an unfinished product, with such a poor execution and and overwhelming quantity of bugs and such low engine performance, that it can't be excused. There's no way that any decent QA could have missed BP's issues. They just had to play 2 minutes to find a few dozen bugs and performance issues...

They are already creating a new product without finishing the previous one. I won't be waiting for that game. Maybe if future reviews of the game say it's bugless (as humanly possible), I'll give it a try.

Hmmm...I think you've posted something before about how it ran like shit for you, and you had a pretty flash computer or something.
Well, I recently saw it running on a Athlon 2600+, 1 gig ram, gf6800 (vanilla flavoured), and at default settings it ran pretty smoothly.
The detail settings were then ramped up quite a bit, and though it was juddery at times (think Morrowind for a lot of rigs when it first came out) it was still playable. Even combat wasn't too bad. I played for an hour or so (admittedly, a lot of it was pointless playing around) and didn't see any game killing bugs. Sure, I will undoubtedly come across some, but from where I stand your current claims seem a bit overdone.

Maybe I lucked out and had some wonderful HW combo the game favoured?

Edit:
Your specs
Well, in my PC, the weapons work like crap. Maybe it's because of my weak p4 3.4GHz with only 1GB DDR2 ram and a X800GET 256MB graphic card, but I can't play combat in that game, it just lags more than if I were playing online with a 28.8K modem. And the weapons... Too erratic!
Wow. Looks even better (on the surface) than what I used. Maybe the game doesn't like ATI? Has anyone else compared cards?

But Far cry insted run perfect on medium setings on athlon 1700+, 512mb ram, gfti4200 and i don't think that boiling point look any beter.

Based on the list of bugfixes I would say they are doing their best to "finish up" the game. Just because they started production on a game doesn't mean they stopped supporting Boiling Point, and so far it seems they're giving it better support than most releases nowadays. This patch is even adding some features that were requested by the fans.
Based on what we know about Atari (they are not really found of paying for patches), they are probably doing this from their own pocket. Atari didn't care to advertise the game, and until recently they didn't even had a forum for it, so all things considered it's great they are taking the time to further improve the game (and I must say while I encountered some minor bugs, I never experienced a single crash or major bug, something I can't say of games like SW: Knights of the Old Republic II)

I own the game, and I've been having a lot of fun. I don't have a top of the line PC, and I don't have any performance issues at all (I spent 10 minutes or so messing with the game's settings to find the "optimal" combination, and I now I rarely have any slowdowns). I keep my PC fully updated, defraged, virus/spyware/adware/trojan free, which helps...

It's a shame more people don't give this game a chance (hopefully when the price drops people will take notice). While it isn't as polished or "pretty" as games made by bigger companies I find it pretty impressive, especially since a significant part of the game was made by a team of 4 people (from Ukraine), without a huge budget or support.

I personally can't wait for their next game. Boiling Point + space setting + space combate + RPG, what's not to like... :)

before you become any good with the guns, around 1/2 of your shots will misfire - ie the gun just clicks, you might be mistaking this feature for bad perfomance

It's not so much as a problem with the weapons skills, it's just that most weapons you pick up have lots of "wear", and they misfire/jam a lot. With new weapons this doesn't happen.

Previously it was pretty hard to repair a weapon (apparently there is a weapon mod that reduces the wear, but I never found it), but fortunately with the next patch you will be able to repair weapons much easily.

I've only had a couple of misfires so far, even with low skills. You just need to use fresh guns.
