<strong>[ Game -> Review ]</strong>

<p>Well, it's that time of year again and what better pressie for a
gamer to find under the tree than a game? With that in mind, resident
hex-review-guy Naked_Lunch has <a target="_self" href="http://www.tacticularcancer.com/content.php?id=2">given us his thoughts</a> on <span class="postbody"><a href="http://www.2kgames.com/shatteredunion/" target="_self">Shattered Union</a></span>, a new turn-based strategy game from <span class="postbody"><a href="http://www.poptop.com/" target="_self">PopTop Software</a></span>:</p>
<blockquote>
<p><span class="postbody">Like I stated before, for the campaign you have seven
forces to choose from: California Commonwealth, Pacifica, Republic of Texas,
Great Plains Federation, The Confederacy, New England Alliance and the European
Union. The basic setup is that there was a disputed presidential election and
one thing leads to another and a civil war started. </span><span class="postbody">When barely 50% of Americans go out to vote I doubt we&rsquo;re
as passionate about democracy as we used to be, if we ever were. The worst
thing that could happen in a disputed vote would probably be some name-calling
and then a Supreme Court justice getting a blowjob. But, I have suspension of
disbelief and press onwards. </span>

<span class="postbody">Being the proud Rhode Islander that I am, I decide to
align with the New England Alliance and promptly began to kick ass...</span></p>
</blockquote>
<p><a target="_self" href="http://www.tacticularcancer.com/content.php?id=2">You can read all about it here</a>. Judging by the verdict though, this is one game you may not want to find sitting under that tree tomorrow morning.

I wish they'd release the sales number for it. If they do, I will make it my personal goal to murder everyone who bought it. Wish me luck.
