What are your expectations for Shivering Isles? Please be realistic.

I'm expecting a 15 hour experience with maybe 2 non-branching quest trains in addition to the main quest, some new shiny stuff, maybe a few cameos from the older games, and still no mounted combat.

Another Codexer has a nervous breakdown or some other crisis, followed by a spamming spree.

what?

Because the game will give him the shits?

I'm not expecting much from Shivering Isles. It'll be too short, with non-branching quests that even a retard could figure out. Maybe they'll even voice act the quest popups this time around.

In fact, I don't intend to get it. I only own KOTN because a friend gave it to me, and I still can't be bothered playing it.

Quite a change from someone that put well over a thousand hours into Morrowind (very heavily modded).

Meh. I expect it to be more of the same, with emphasis on most of the stuff I didn't like to begin with.

Phatter l3wts! More inane humour! More linear quests with an illusion of choice! Etc!

Definitely won't be buying it, since it doesn't even have the curiosity factor that Oblivion had. Oh, and I don't actually have a copy of Oblivion.

My hopes for it have been crushed after reading the fan interviews stickied @ the TES forums. Level scaling will remain unchanged.... that simply broke my heart

There is no danger... just play a level 1 character that never sleeps and masters skills.
