Probably Police Quest, although an Infocom Collection would be very, very cool.

In before "you're paying for cracked abandonware".

The combination of police line and text makes me think of... was it Deadline? but there's a bit too much emphasis on the police thing to be an Infocom collection.

Ah, so it's both Police Quest AND Zork. Nice.

Didn't even notice the Dornbeast image when I first clicked the link. The "maze of twisty passages" is a dead giveaway though, at least once you decode the text...

Regardless of mystery game's title or actual release date, it was abandonware!

Even though they are abandonware it still is pretty cool GoG is bringing these games to the attention of a bit wider public.

Kinda weird that they included Planetfall in the Zork Anthology. I would have replaced it with Wishbringer since that one takes place in the world of Zork and is damn good introduction to someone who never played that kind of game.

Kinda curious to see what interpreter they use. From the screenshot, it appears to be the original DOS interpreter.
