Has potential if they don't mismanage it into another Gollum. Exploring the Shire in the Vivendi games was a pretty memorable part, a whole Animal Crossing clone with a better aesthetic could really work out.

I have to admit, I'm much more racist than I thought I was.

Negro elves, dwarves and hobbits annoy me to an irrational degree.

You know... maybe it does make sense.
Bilbo's father was named "Bungo" which does have a ghetto ring to it. Like "Bubba" or something.

Maybe that's why Gandalf thought Bilbo will make good burglar.
