What's the best way to keep track of stuff coming out this week? I don't use gaming journo sites and it would be nice to see whats coming out and isn't just shovelware
Just wishlist the game on store of your choice.
There's notifications and e-mails when stuff is released, on sale etc.

I find it easier just to check the following to keep abreast of releases, the graphical format makes it easy to quickly separate the shit from stuff that warrants a closer look.

If you're talking about games that people discuss on the Codex, I make an effort to update release dates in thread titles. Just use the forum search function.

Follow their respective threads on Codex, don't follow shit that doesn't interest you. For overall ALL RPG releases, nothing is better then this thread

Seems terribly ineffective. The site linked above was great, seeing everything Steam is releasing has already pointed me to a few wishlist items for decent sales.
