Man, when can these Indie folk understand: You do not voice over your game knowing it would be crappy.
People, gen z or otherwise will not read your writing if it's boring either way.
I'd prefer they improve their writing.Gamedevs voicing their own games
Like I said: I consider this as an expression of the game's SOVL. Even bad voice acting can be entertaining.I'd prefer they improve their writing.Gamedevs voicing their own games
While it is a good thing that they tried, if the result is less than standard, it would've been better if they don't. This is especially true in Indie scene where often than not they lacked the equipment and the skill to make it accepatable.
I don't play SOVL so I do not know what you're talking about. What I do know is that the trailer above is just bad, not bad funny, but bad wrong sound mixing, bad not understanding the scene, if it's just bad acted it would've still passable.SOVL
It's not a game, it's an esoteric way of spelling the word "soul".I don't play SOVL so I do not know what you're talking about.SOVL
I see. I thought it was: SOVL: Fantasy Warfare.the word "soul".
This game has a combat system."narrative-driven"
Master the rituals of an ancient spellbook in The Necromancer's Tale. A story-rich gothic RPG. Raise an undead army to march against your enemies. Commune with the realm of the deceased & struggle with your descent into madness. Progress through secrecy, diplomacy, blackmail, coercion & seduction until ready to reveal yourself.
Experience the thrilling world of The Necromancer's Tale where a quirky scientist brings the dead back to life using chemistry!
The turn-based tactical combat it has doesn't look too bad. Not every RPG allows you to herd a team of undead, even those that allow playing a necromancer."gameplay" of reading
The Necromancer’s Tale is set in 1733 in the fictional kingdom of Rulsthen on the Adriatic coast, in the aftermath of a war with Venice during which Rulsthen wielded necromancy - and the world noticed.
