Vampire Bloodlines Help Required - The Fu Labs

I hope someone can help me with this one. I am in the Fu building in chinatown. I am going through a series of "Tests" of my vampiric abilities and I am in a room with three whirling blade contraptions that just cut you to bits. How do I move on??????

Any help would be great.

Depends on your character. Either shoot the switch boxes behind the bars (to your left) or destroy the blades with a sledgehammer

Never tried attacking the blades myself. I used a gun to shoot those panels behind the grates, smashed the panels and the grates with a sledge hammer or severed hand.
